Located near La Sagrada Familia, it’'s a calm zone and very well communicated with the rest of the city by underground, buses and taxi. The BcnStop Sagrada Familia apartments are new and comfortable. All of them are furnished and equipped with satellite, air conditioning, TV, free WI-FI and with a complete bathroom, kitchen and dining room. BcnStop Parc Güell
They are placed in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, a few minutes from the Parc Güell. It’s a very typical district where you will be able to find all kinds of restaurants and agreeable outside cafes. They’'re well communicated from the rest of the city, only 10 minutes in public transport to the Ramblas and Plaça Catalunya.The apartments are totally renovated, very luminous and with terrace or balcony. They are furnished, with one or two complete bathroom’s and a totally equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave and all the necessary utensils. The daily room's cleaning as linen and towels change it's included in our servicesAll of them have air conditioning, TV and free Wi-FI.

In Aerobus: 4'25 € aprox. This bus will take you up to Plaza Catalunya where you must get the underground Line 3 -green- to Diagonal station. There you must take the blue line Line 5 just to Sant Pau station.

By train:ordinary ticket 2,80€ aprox. The airport train will take you to Paseo de Gracia, there get the underground Line 2 -purple- up to Sagrada Familia station. You must change to blue line Line 5 and go to Sant Pau station. Information: 902 240 202.

The Modernist Route

The Modernist Route is an itinerary through the Barcelona of Gaudí, Domènech i Montaner and Puig i Cadafalch, that with other architects made Barcelona the world capital of the Modernism. Inside this route you will be able to thoroughly know the Sagrada Familia, the symbolic Parc Güell, the Sant Pau immense hospital and many surprising houses. Also you will see more popular and daily listed buildings, as drugstores, trades, shops or banks, up to a total of 115 works that shows that the Modernism took root strongly in Barcelona, and that still today it’s an art alive.

Parc Guell

El Parc Güell
The Parc Güell was constructed between 1900 and 1914 by Antoni Gaudí to Eusebio Güell's order, and it has as purpose be a City Garden from where being able to enjoy excellent views of Barcelona. The park has seventeen hectares and the geographical situation of the area was important in his design and construction. The architect, far from seeing the geographical disadvantages, took advantage to the maximum of the natural colors that he saw around to inspire and the slopes to canalize water withdrawal.The Parc Güell it’s a World Heritage from 1984 and one of the most singular cultural goods of the world. Antoni Gaudí took model the English landscape painters and he moved it to Barcelona.Inside the enclosure of the park, oaks and pines forests invite to sit down in the square Greek theatre, on the famous stone bench elaborated by Josep Jujol, one of the narrowest collaborators of Gaudí. In the whole Parc Güell we feel a symbiosis between man and nature that Gaudí and his disciples put in practice in his works. The great value of the Parc Güell is that it has turned into a outdoors art wonder, in the great garden where the nature and the human ingenuity are fused.

Sagrada familia

La Sagrada Familia
It’s one of the most emblematic historical building of Barcelona and possibly one of the architectural works most singular and admired in the whole world. Spectacular work of the brilliant Antoni Gaudí, was his more ambitious project to which he devoted himself body and soul, and turned his obsession since he assumed the project in 1883. Gaudí went to live to the Sagrada Familia to follow the works closely with the hope to be able to end it in a few years, but his dream broke in the year 1926, when he died knocked down by a train. Gaudí only saw finished the Front of the Nativity, San Bernabé's tower and part of the crypt, where he is buried.The expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Familia is placed in the center of the Eixample, the neighborhood in which the Catalan middle class lived at the end of the 19th century, and was born with the aim to be the poor person Cathedral.It’s a work still in full construction, taken by different architects that use the plans that Gaudí left, and going forward thanks to the donations that come from the whole world.Although it’s an unfinished church, Gaudí's original work was declared heritage of the humanity by the UNESCO. From 1986, the sculptor Josep Maria Subirachs is the manager of carrying out the sculptural work of the Front of the Passion, which he has been executing according to his personal style throughout twenty years. In 2000 was finished the construction of the vaults of the central nave, and they started the Front of the Glory and a large vitral dedicated to the Resurrection. According to the Gaudi’s models, is under construction the choir of the Front of the Glory, and the vaults of the cruise and apse, on which there gets up the tower of the central dome, crowned with a cross to 170mts height dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

La Casa Batlló
Building placed in the Paseo de Gracia of Barcelona, it was popularly baptized as the "apple of the discord " because of the disparity of styles of the different buildings that compose it.What at first was a simple reform of an already constructed building, gave the opportunity to Gaudí to create one of his more poetical and decorative works.The low part of the building was replaced with a few undulating forms carved in stone, which integrate the balconies and some delicate columns with floral topics.The front, waved vertically, is redressed in glass fragments and different colors ceramics, which give them an iridescent aspect. Gaudí indicated the operatives and the distribution of the different fragments and colors from the street, designing an inclined roof with a gigantic fish form that he realized with ceramics pieces. In the posterior part of the front house, Gaudí constructed set of eight chimneys that shows us he was a great arquitect and magnificient sculptor and decorator.

La Pedrera

La Pedrera
The Pedrera it’s placed in number 92 of the Passeig de Gràcia, one of the most lordly neighborhoods of the Catalan capital. Gaudí create this charming work for order of the Milà family . In the Pedrera, Gaudí shows why he’s known as the architect of the impossible forms, and he created a fascinating game of convexities and concavities. The form in which he carved the stones, providing them a rugose aspect and which remembers a stone quarry, finally ended up by giving name to the house. When we watch the Pedrera, it seems the sea waves movement as an honoring building to the nearby Mediterranean sea. Gaudí used naval engineering skills to construct this house, and it was decorated with wrought iron balconies that imitate the vegetables. In the roof, the architect created sinuous and curvilinear elements that finished in the original chimney’s.The whole building is like a great sculpture in movement, which seems to guide the visitor to the roof.
